Sunday school

Christian Education is a key element of our Word and Sacrament ministry.  Through education Christians of all ages are able to hear more about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, growing in faith with others.  

During the school year Sunday school for ages preschool thru 6th grade meets at 11:00 am on Sundays.  Songs, games, lessons, activities, and fun are part of our children's class time as we explore the Bible and learn about the amazing faith that God has given us through Jesus.  

Confirmatin Class for our 7th & 8th graders is taught by Pastor Tim and Classes for High School students are taught by Skip Perren.  The Adult Class is offered in the Fellowship Hall.  Join us anytime!

Vacation Bible School

Each summer Zion invites the children of the community to share in a week of fun and adventure with Bible stories, crafts, games and snacks as they learn about God! 

Ice Cream Social

Zion has also included an Ice Cream Social on the Lawn for the community the last evening of VBS.  The children share their songs with their family and guests, while everyone enjoys the music from the bandstand at the square during the Friday night summer concerts.
