" Sharing Faith, Living Faith "

Sunday school for all ages - 11:00  am

Christian Education is a key element of our Word and Sacrament ministry.  Through education Christians of all ages are able to hear more about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, growing in faith with others.

During the school year Sunday school meets at 11:00 am on Sundays.  Songs, games, lessons, activities, and fun are part of our children's class time as we explore the Bible and learn about the amazing faith that God has given us through Jesus.

Sunday school for adults is offered at 11:00 am on Sunday mornings in the Fellowship Hall.

Gospel Express VBS, June 19-23, 2006

Fifty-five kids and twenty-seven volunteers made tracks

to God's Celebration Train and celebrated a fun-filled week

of gospel stories, music, crafts and food despite the rain and

gloomy skies at times!  Our carnival was well attended and

the kids enjoyed the train pinatas and carnival games.

They exchanged their tickets at the prize table and no one

left empty-handed!  A total of $218.65 was raised through

offerings to be given to Emmanuel Housing Project of

Nicaragua to help with their rebuilding efforts after

Hurricane Mitch devastated that community in 1998.

VBS 2005!

It's A Circus Spectacular

In June, Zion spread the love of Jesus to the children of our community with our Circus Spectacular VBS. 40 children gathered in the big top for fun, games, songs, snacks, dramas, and crafts. Through it all we learned that God welcomes everyone!

The week of VBS ended with our family carnival on Friday night. We sent off balloons, sang our favorite songs, played carnival games, did face painting, and even pied Pastor Tony to raise money for Project Senegal.  Nearly $400 was raised for Project Senegal through VBS.
